but why am I posting this? It’s about our future and the future of our grandchildren. I know it is hard to imagine yourself as a granny or granddad. But would’t you be so hurt if you would have to watch your pale and epathetic grandchildren being forced to play inside (probably playing a computer game) on a sunny day as a consequence of global warming and the rising level of CO2 in our atmosphere.

350.org is an international campaign dedicated to building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis–the solutions that science and justice demand.

The mission is to inspire the world to rise to the challenge of the climate crisis—to create a new sense of urgency and of possibility for our planet.

The focus is on the number 350–as in parts per million, the level scientists have identified as the safe upper limit for CO2 in our atmosphere. But 350 is more than a number–it’s a symbol of where we need to head as a planet.

I was having fun designing for Kapiti Kitchen this website with a different outlook. It’s all natural and handmade!! My favorite is lemon, lime and bitters in soda…you can’t beat that taste sensation woohoooo

A little boys dream is to ride on a friendly dinosaur!

*where the wild things are* !!! the book illustrated by Maurice Sendak is such a brilliant children’s book for my two *wild things*.
Since the 3rd of December there is even the movie showing in the cinemas in New Zealand!

This work was inspired by the extraordinary size and strange appearance of
this beautiful and extinct animal. Moa exists in a parallel world of
decoratively sprouting organic motifs – a play on the transience of nature
and life.

Pixel Ink proudly presents its forth group exhibition of natural wonders. This pre-christmas exhibition titled ‘Nature, it walks’ explores the diverse natural and organic forms that surround us in our lives and contribute to our way of life.

Artists from around New Zealand were invited to create artworks which communicate ‘nature personified’, including natural or organic forms, plant life, trees, fungi, flowers and forest creatures.
