*this will be used in the poster for the 350 international climate action day. On October 23 2009, 350 schools will be kicking the 350 message off in style with simultaneous actions all over the country. Then, on October 24, an International Day of Climate Action will call for a fair Copenhagen treaty that meets the science and gets us back to 350.
350ppm is the safe upper limit of CO2 in our atmosphere; 350 is a movement calling for a fair global treaty to get us back to the safe zone!

A poster of Maurice Sendak’s 1979 exhibition inspired me doing this
composition..add another cup of kiwiana and a bit of zing and there u go..tadaa

* These are colourful, humorous illustrations of the fairytale “How the kiwi lost his wings”.
When I was reading several maori myths and fairytales I’ve tumbled over this particularly loveable story!
New Zealand children know it very well and how the little Kiwi sacrifices his colourful feathers to safe
his bird friends and their tree-homes.
